Why hasn’t wireless recharging been implemented in all modern electronics?

Wireless rechargeable devices are just now beginning to show up on the market. An example of this is the upcoming Palm Pre. I was wondering, why the Sonicare, an electric toothbrush, has wireless recharging (and has had the feature for several years) and other devices, like laptops or phones, don’t.

    well both those devices are fairly low power compared to a laptop.
