Do I have to purchase a special service plan if I buy a smart phone(Treo or Moto Q) with Sprint?

I am planning to get a new phone thru Sprint and was interested in their smart phones. Do you purchase a Power plan and then have to add a vision pack with it? Does anyone have recommendations on plans/packs?

    Yes, you buy a Power pack voice plan, and then a data plan, which is $15 per month.

    Also look at SERO: $30 per month for 500 minutes N/W @7, unlimited PDA data, IM, and picture mail.

    then type as the email address.
