Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator Pre-Made Cut-Outs, Shapes and Patterns Layers ?

Where can I find pre-made solid texture, shape and pattern layers (cut-outs) for Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator? I have to make a flyer and I’m looking for things such as the paint splatters & palm trees pictured in this flyer http://www.etownraceway.com/main/07events/summerscslam07f.jpg and the weeds, flowers, stripes and tribal images used here http://a385.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/13/l_b2c357d9b6646f191d42dfd6df522000.jpg, Obviously I’m not looking for those exact images. I’m just looking for more information on what those type of background/enhancement layers are called and if there is a database of them online?
