The Palm Pre announced today their official launch date - June 6th, 2009 (2 days before Apple iPhone’s big event). We have all the details you need to know for the Palm Pre including cost and mail in rebates. Also, June 8th is WWDC 09 for Apple geeks and rumors about that a new iPhone may come out. The only thing that’s confirmed is the new iPhone operating system, iPhone 3.0 OS, so that’s going to be a good week of news! Finally, did you know that the government (US) reported today that …

A friend of mine is thinking about getting the palm pre and selling his 1st generation iphone when his contract ends. If I bought his iphone, would I be able to go to an att and get a pay as you go plan or would I have to sign up for a 2 year contract?

I would like to know which cell phone has the best calendar / personal organizer application. I’ve seen a little of what the Palm Pre should do an it looks very impressive, but seeing that its not released as yet, I would like to know which phone on the market delivers the best experience.

Recently my world history teacher told the class that if you were born in 1994 or after you have to be 18 for a license. Of what I thought I knew was that the age was 16 still, but there were more qualifications, curfew, and only 1 teen passenger at a time. I am thoroughly confused could some one please clear this up for me?
Thank you in advance for everybody that tries to honestly answer.
P.S. what do you find better, Palm Pre, Iphone, or Android?
IntoMobile asked:
Palm was on hand at CTIA Wireless 2009 to show off a few new applications for the Palm Pre’s WebOS. Pandora, Fandango, FlightView and the Palm OS Classic emulator. All applications are incredibly integrated into the WebOS and can be multi-tasked in the background. The WebOS is really shaping up nicely.

I am going on a cruise that stops in Aruba. I would like to visit either Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, or Baby Beach. Currently, I am not planning on paying for a “shore excursion” as I only need transportation to/from the beach. Do you know if I can find a taxi coming back from any of these beaches or will I need to pre-book a return? Does one of these beaches have a better chance of finding transportation than the others?

Nokia N97, Apple Iphone 3G, Palm Pre, Google G1, Sony XPERIA X1, or other? Rank them.

Just a little light-hearted sketch to welcome the new Palm Pre. Done in the style of the popular “I’m a Mac” adverts. The Pre has a wireless desktop charger that sits on your desk and you just stick the Pre on it and it’s held in place by magnets whilst it charges, just the same as an electric toothbrush. It’s maybe not quite so wireless as Palm would like you to believe. The music is by MastersofMario and came from here: mastersofmario.newgrounds.com
