I already have a family plan with Verizon (my parents pay for it). I either want a HTC Touch Pro or a Samsung Saga BUT they’re listed as smartphones. Last time I asked about smart phones to the Verizon people, they said I HAD to get a data plan with it. How can I get them not to add that on BUT be able to use the phone?

I am a recent convert to Mac and am looking at contract renewal time ( Verizon) and want to Sync a Smart Phone with my computer. Seems that only Palm Treo natively syncs with the Mac. Hate having my choices limited. There are several third party software choices out there that can let me Sync with a Windows Mobile device. I really like Outlook better than Entourage…So…. My choices seem to be to buy Parallels and Outlook on my computer and sync it with a windows phone OR…buy a palm and sync it with my Mac and be resigned to using Entourage. Anyone else had this quandry and thought through all of the issues and come up with a coherent answer. Probably need to get Parallels anyway but hate to start up the whole multiple software products to keep the system clean routine. Wondering if Palm/Mac is worth it just for keeping a clean system. May be the only person in America who really doesnt want an I-Phone. Use it for business only and dont care about music. Thanks!

I have a Getting Started disc for PN-820 verizon smart phone. it came new with this disc, had no cover with a Product Key Code. So I can’t work with the application because it asks for the code. the disc contains Microsoft ActiveSync connectivity Software and Microsoft Outlook 2002. Can I get a 25 # key code or a new software disc with the code? thank You.

I bought a Palm T/X not too long ago, and now I don’t even see them in stores anymore. It seems that Palm is putting their emphasis on their phones such as the Treo, Centro and the upcoming Pre. I’m still happy with my current phone, so there is no reason for me to buy a new one. But, I’m worried that support for the Palm PDA’s will dry up and that I will be stuck with a $300 paper weight.
